Our Story

Sun Valley first opened its doors in 1990 with a heart to reach people in Arizona who nobody was reaching with the good news that God loves us and that Jesus has provided the way for us to be restored in a relationship with Him.

That is still who we are today.

We are one church that meets online and in 6 locations with the mission of "Helping People Meet, Know, and Follow Jesus." We believe that we are just getting started and the best is yet to come as we work together to help fulfill the mission that Jesus has given us.

Why We Exist

We believe that everybody matters to God. No matter where you've been, no matter what you’ve done, no matter what has been done to you – God loves you as you are, not as you should be. God has demonstrated this love by meeting us right where we are through the person of Jesus and by giving His life on the cross to pay the debt of sin that we couldn’t pay ourselves. When we couldn’t work our way to God, God worked His way to us through the person of Jesus. This is great news for all of us! In light of this incredible gift, Sun Valley exists to help people meet, know, and follow Jesus. We would love to meet you at one of our campuses soon!
