The Virtual Mission Trip is a five day experience where you and a group of people will take a journey to South Africa to discover African culture, engage with the mission of Orchard: Africa and grow in your relationship with Jesus.
Each day you will be given access to a travel portal where you will experience South Africa via video that will highlight a specific area of Orchard: Africa's ministry. You will also have access to articles and other content to help you dive deeper into that topic. 
4 out of the 5 days you will be given a link to have a live conversation with Orchard: Africa staff to find out what life is like in South Africa, what Orchard: Africa is doing to care for the vulnerable and what is happening right now on the ground. It will be a chance to ask questions and get to know each other as a team.
There will be some other fun experiences as well that will help the mission team engage the culture, serve people in South Africa, connect together as a team and be virtually transported on mission.
You will receive a devotional journal with daily guided reflections on what it means to be Jesus' body in the world.

   Saturday, May 30 | 10:00am - Meet Pastor Patrick and hear what it was like growing up in an African Village. 
   Sunday, May 31 | 6:30pm - Meet Orchard: Africa founders Mike and Michelle Tessendorf and hear the story of how                  Orchard: Africa began with one meal at a garbage dump.
   Monday, June 1 | No live event - Enjoy an African culture night at home with African food, music, and African wildlife.
   Tuesday, June 2 | 6:30pm - Guided conversation about Jesus' compassion for the vulnerable.
   Wednesday, June 3 | 6:30pm - Discover what is happening in Africa right now and how you can be a part of it.
